I was really excited to witness a new crop of female rock stars last night at the Ladies Rock Camp showcase. On Friday, around 30 women with little-to-no experience playing their instrument gathered together, formed bands, went through intensive music training, and came out the other end with a song to perform at a packed TT’s! I am always a fan of seeing people performing for the first time and also always a fan of getting more females involved in Boston rock (part of the motivation for The Michael J. Epstein Memorial Library). Speaking of the library, library vocalist/guitarist Tanya Palit destroyed the drums for Ladies Rock Camp Punkers Citizen Jane!
