Boston does Boston (Facebook) is a startup benefit series, wherein the city’s vast, diverse pool of musical talent comes together to re-imagine and re-record each other’s work for charity CDs and live events. (Read more about the series.)
The first two volumes are ready and will be released at a series of 3 shows this weekend, all to benefit the Animal Rescue League. Volume one contains a cover of The Michael J. Epstein Memorial Library’s “Amylee” by I, Pistol, and MJEML doing a cover of Gene Dante and the Future Starlets’ “A Madness to His Method.” Listen below.
